This Nitro was like the rest of the Nitro's from the past few months very lackluster but it did have some bright spots. The show opened by showing what could turn out to be a very good story line, Kimberly was shown on tape to have a verbal and this time a physical dispute with the nWo's "Big Papa Pump"Scott Stiener. Kim suffered a concustion due to this altercation and was un-able to perform with the rest of the Nitro Girls on this program. Later in the evening after DDP had just finished issuing a chalange to the WCW Television Champion we saw Big Papa take a nitro girl costume and bring it back in to the bathroom with him where he said that DDP's wife would be needing them.

This Nitro also had of some sorts a HardCore match, after cutting his first interview The Sandman took on Bam Bam Biggalow, in an outstanding match which was with out a doubt the best match on Nitro since Raven took on Chris Benoit at the Spring Break Out '98. The match featured barbwire wraped around the ring posts, and a chair shot the ended up crowning The Sandman of sorts. Bam Bam Biggalow eventulaly came out with the victory.

In the Main Event we saw Chris Benoit take on Scott Hall in a number 1 contendors match for Bret Hart's US Title.After battling back and forth for about a good fifteen minutes, Chris Benoit hit Hall with a diving headbutt from the top which is usally prelued to the Cripler cross face, then after Kevin Nash gave Hall just enough time to recover a dilivered an Outsiders edge for the victory.

The show ended by showing "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan about to attack Ric Flair"'s son, David
